DO NOT BUY ANY ZHU ZHU PET ITEMS FROM THIS VENDOR. This item should cost $18-$20 for the hamster wheel. (found out to late). Wait until after Christmas if you can. Grownups who feed off of kids during christmas is sick. Buy your children real hamsters. It will give them more pleasure and responsibility.

I am so excited to be able t give this toy as a gift for Christmas to my nieces. They asked specifically for the Zhu Zhu pets and accessories. As soon as I have more feedback I will respond. It look to be alot of fun. The product seems to be somewhat durable.I didn’t like the fact that I had to pay a premium price for these items. Fortunately I bought them early and didn’t have to pay as much as others. I plan to wait to buy the additional accessories as I see them in the stores at fair retail value prices.

I was hesitant to buy after reading all the reviews here. At first, the wheel didn’t spin well, but when I pushed it against the support harder, it snapped into place and then it spun freely. As for actually keeping the pets contained, if you place the plastic end caps from INSIDE the rooms, the hamsters can’t push them out. Sticking them in from the outside doesn’t work well at all. My 8-year-old is the one who figured that out, making me feel not so smart. By the way, I do not recommend the black and white hamster. It’s super obnoxious. It makes barnyard animal noises.

This is a fun addition to our collection. Pets enter through the tube and run on the wheel just like a real hamster. Kids really enjoy it.
