Because of the recent negative publicity I returned the Zhu Zhu. Didn’t want my grandson playing with it. When it arrived, pkg was not in good shape.

I got in touch with Jeff at “Serving Him” who was the person that arranges with a company to ship toy to me. He was wonderful to deal with and explained he had terminated the person that was in charge of getting the toys to the consumer because of problems with shipping. He has given me a full refund and I highly recommend “Serving Him” for people to deal with in the future.

“Everytime these cute little guys are on the television set my four year old daughter starts jumping up and down! I am so happy I ordered them early and amazon had them in stock as they are IMPOSSIBLE to find in local toy stores…get them now before they are all bought up! I cant wait to see the look on her face when she opens this gift, and purchase the activity funhouse so zhu zhu has a home!”

I was looking for this robotic toy for weeks. I thought it would be a great X-mas gift for my 3-year-old girl who is staying in Singapore with my wife. 2-3 times a week, I visited Wal Mart, Target and Toys R Us but they were entirely out of stock. I was frustrated.

I called my wife in Singapore to explain how difficult it was to find the hamster toy. She told me she would try to find it in Singapore. The next day, she went to Singapore’s Toys R Us and bought two hamsters, fun house, garage set, etc. She said she didn’t even have to compete with other holiday shoppers, running desperately to grab the toys because Singaporeans are not crazy about this toy.

Anyway, my daughter enjoys this toy and plays with it every day. I guess Singapore Toys R Us can redirect and export some of its overstocked zhu zhu pets over to the U.S. so many disappointed parents can buy the toys for original prices without having to deal with these greedy merchants.

All I know is my kids ask for things and worse than them being sold-out, they are sold out to criminals who take advantage of desperate parents to make a profit.

Capitolism is good, snaching up every $11.00 toy you can find then selling it for $50 – $60 is sick.

    Criminals.
