Works as described in the manual. Little bit pricey for the features. I have not tried lane guidance yet.

I am very disappointed that your pricing is not competitive with others. If I had known , I would have
purchased my GPS from Costco which offers a lifetime of updates for maps.

Purchased the unit for an upcoming trip. The Garmin 1390 worked exhalent. This unit is very intuitive. The only complaint is the food / restaurant locator needs updating. If I had it to do over, I would make the same purchase. Grate prices at amazon

I bought my garmin to replace a cheap omnitech gps that died. Having gotten no satisfaction from them I decided to go with a “name brand” and chose the garmin. I like the thinness of the unit, the clarity of the display and the traffic info that recently saved me from getting into a huge traffic jam in Fremont, ca. With the weighted rubber base it stays put on my dash, but is easily removed and hidden when I park in public. So far, I’m very happy with it!

The GPS seems to be a good product with one big fault- documentation. The 8 page booklet that comes with the GPS only gives set-up instructions, not a detailed how to. I called Garmin was was told that they have “gone green” , they don’t include instructions, and I should download from the website. I looked at the website and found that the instructions ran more than 50 pages so Garmin is transferring their costs to me. After calling back and raising hell, they agreed to mail me the instructions. A poor way to run a railroad.
Otherwise the GPS is what I was looking for.
