The knife is solid and very comfortable in hand, however, when I got it new, the blade is slightly bent. I expect it to be in almost Perfect condition, but it’s not.

Each morning I slice oranges to squeeze for juice. I got used to the knife used for the last several years not knowing how lousy it was. I bought the Hensckels knife on a lark as a Mother’s day token for my wife although I knew it was really for me. It is absolutely terrific- great balance,great feel, really sharp. From the first cut into the next orange I knew this knife was something special. I couldn’t resist slicing up some extras just to experience the feel of the knife. It is now off limits for anyone but me to use it. I recommend it. Get one for each user, no borrowing allowed.

Been buying Henckel knives and scissors for over 20 years. Weve never been disapointed and this is no exception. Sort of a compact chef’s knife (which we think a little clumsy), the shape and balance of this knife is perfect for my hand and even for my wife as well, which is unusual. The overall finish and quality is typical Henckel – a lifetime tool, in my opinion.

Everything that I wanted in a utility knife. Hefty handle, good steel and a blade wide enough to be useful for many slicing and chopping needs, but not so wide as a french knife.

I have all Henckels 4 star knives in my kitchen, but this is the one that I come back to over and over. Unfortunately, I have lost mine in a recent move and it’s on the top of my “wish list” for Christmas this year!!!! I really miss it!
It is comfortable to hold and you can’t beat the stainless steel on Henckels knives.
The 5 star line is also excellent with a comfortable handle. You can’t go wrong buying from either line.
