We chose the city mini because of it being the absolute easiest stroller to fold. Now after having the baby, I am so glad it is easy to fold, not to mention is folds up so it can easily fit in the trunks of our car – it even went in the front seat once when the trunk was full. We also purchased the City bassinet so we could use the stroller as an infant stroller. Our daughter sleeps in the bassinet by our bed every night and it clips on the stroller very easily if we want to take her for walks in it. We have the Peg Perego Primo Viaggio car seat and it clips on the car seat adaptor with ease.

The stroller is light and easy to maneuver. I am 5′ 7″ and my husband 6′ 1″ and the handle height is perfect for both of us. We often take the stroller through the grass at the park while walking our dog and it handles the terrain beautifully. Perhaps we would have looked at the other city strollers more carefully for more flexibility in tire size and handle operation, but we are very happy with this stroller.

When our daughter is older the canopy is very large to block the sun and it has full recline if she is sleepy. We like that we never had to buy one of those plasticy graco stroller kits and it isn’t necessarily making the statement of a bugaboo, but City has a lifetime warranty and is very well built.

Best quality for the price – and we were only looking at top end options. Bugaboo, Peg Perego, etc. were other strollers we considered. None fold up as easily so even a new grandma can fold the stroller.

I absolutely love this stroller. It’s so lightweight and easy to manuever. Honestly- I can’t imagine buying any other stroller. Yes- you have to buy the infant bar to make it a travel system, but the stroller is so worth the extra cost. It literally folds up with one hand. I love it!

  3. So I loved this stroller and everything about it from it’s look to the shade to the ease of folding and lightweight stature. Unfortunately I wanted this stroller to be my only stroller and thought it could be with the infant carrier bar added on. Then I wanted the parent console for the extra storage and the baby tray for when my little guy grew. When you add it all up the stroller ends up costing close to 350 and with the items added on, the ease of folding decrease. In addition, the infant carrier never felt sturdy to me and one day the front wheel randomly fell off. Also with the infant carrier on it you could tip the stroller over with very little effort and so I could never leave the baby in it without having one hand on the stroller. These were safety concerns to me and I wasn’t willing to sacrifice safety for style and ease of use. One other practical thing is that the basket underneath was too small for my diaper bag and hanging the bag on the handle was enough to tip the stroller with my 10 lb baby in it.

All that being said, I think this would be a great stroller for an older baby that you don’t mind having facing away from you and if you are willing to spend a lot of money. I just wouldn’t reccommend using it with an infant carrier. I did return it and get a middle-high end travel system and another light weight stroller for the same total price.

One last thing worth mentioning is that this stroller is NOT a jogging stroller even though it is made by baby jogger.
