  1. Actually, I do not know how this product works. Once again the seller was not misleading, the reason for a 3 is that I do not know how it is supposed to work. I thought I had ordered a solar panel for some reason. A panel intending to charge up a 20 volt laptop, and a 12 volt portable power station. The 12/24 volt charger is what made me think that. It’s actually a charger, and not a panel, so I ordered the wrong thing. This is not the seller’s fault, the instructions are fine.

While the seller could probably tweak the information a little to address jugheads like me, the information was clear in the ad. I just order the wrong thing.

  2. J Galt II says:

This item appears to be made well and performs well to date. The enclosed instructions were inadequate, but reading other reviews helped sort it out.

I use it to regulate a solar panel for battery maintenance in a RoadTrek RV that is parked away from AC electricity source.

Radio shack provided a nice cigarette lighter type plug-in connector and I had on hand some appropriate marine 12 V. insulated wire so installation was quite simple. The solar panel sits on the dash when in use.

  3. This product is a piece of garbage. I thought it would be a cheap fix for my 85 watt sunwise panel in my back yard. I turned out to be a cheap and flimsy. I checked and rechecked the wires to make sure they where secure. Then I tested the panel and battery which where operating correctly. This led me to the controller which I needed to shake to get some lights to light up. I would not waste my time or energy on this product.
