Yes, it looks nice in the picture but it will be very hard to put baby in and out. My baby legs were stuck when we trying to take her out of chair. We have 6 months old baby, description says you could use for up to 18 months. I don’t think so. Maybe you could use for less than 3 months old babies. Stokke needs to review this item with actual babies before putting in the market. not to mention, it costs more than 70 dollars.

Both my husband and I are just angry with ourselves that we bought this awful thing based of its cute looks and great description (all lies!). It’s a nightmare to put baby in and out, it’s a nightmare to adjust the harness and use it WITH the baby set, it’s a nightmare to remover the cushion every time it needs to be cleaned… What a horrible design! I really hope the chair itself is good. We’ll have to wait for a while to find this out as our son is too young to use it without the baby set.

My daughter is 9 months and in the 50% height and 50% weight range. I have been using the babyset since she is 6 months old and it has been rather difficult then fun. It is so hard to get him out of this seat. You have to lift him up from behind and make sure that the legs are straight..otherwise be prepared for the tears. What a shame that Stokke has designed such an awful tight seat for babies. My husband is mad that I spent so much money and wants to buy a plastic highchair.
Would definitely not buy again.

This baby set is supposed to be used for babies up to 18-24 months old, but its just impossible to put my 8 month old in and out of the chair without her crying! i have even tried to return my chair but the seller won’t accept it back as i purchased it more than 30 days ago. Now we are stuck with a 240$ chair and a 80$ baby set!

I was hesitant to buy this piece as our baby is already a year old, but we know from trail and error that we need a harness or belt to keep him in any highchair. The other reviews here are very discouraging and it’s not a cheap extra so we were thinking of just getting another brand of chair altogether. However, when we went to the store, one of the display models was equipped with the baby set insert and harness. We put our son (now 21 lbs) in and out with any problems at all. So far, this has been a great product all around and I highly recommend it.
