MY LITTLE 2YR OLD GRAND DAUGHTER THINKS THIS CHAIR IS GREAT, SHE HAS A BIG GIRL CHAIR NOW.

This is a great looking and space efficient chair, but it’s been incredibly messy since our baby started to eat finger foods. It’s too bad it doesn’t have a tray attachment for infants to early toddlers. As first time parents we didn’t realize how convenient a tray would be — much easier than repairing our wood table from baby banging and cleaning up a huge mess from the floor. We bought a second high chair with a tray and put our Stokke chair away for a while. We’re hoping it will become useful later as our baby grows.

I got this chair from my mom, which she had at her house for grandchildren, but she didn’t have the harness. Now I’m trying to locate one so I can use it with my 6 mo. old and it is IMPOSSIBLE to find to buy. So, if you buy it and want to use it with successive children, be sure to hang on to the harness.
I like that my child is able to sit at the table with us, and do not agree with the other reviewer who says it is impossible to clean. Use a damp rag right after your child eats, and it’s fine. I can’t imagine it is any more difficult to clean than the convoluted plastic chairs on the market with closed seat bottoms and tons of cracks and crevices.

I had a regular high chair for almost one year- It was actually a very good one, from Fisher Price. We had to return it to our friends and I was getting tired of its bulkiness anyways. It was to much plastic- the tabletop was messy, as My baby, now starting to play with his own food, would drop everything between the table and his body.
Well, THANK GOD I got the tripp trapp, after much research.
It was the best product I purchased for my son. He simply LOVES sitting at the table now. We eat everybody together and he really feels part of the whole meal time. It is very comfortable and stable, very pretty and easy to clean. The best thing is that the food will barely drop on the floor, as I can put him very close to the table.
I bought also one of those babybjorn bibs to use with it and it’s simply perfect!

This is a great chair for children. This is the second one my family has purchased. We have two young children and they both have one. The chair is very comfortable, easy to clean. It also can be adjusted for all ages to make it easy to reach the table. Adults can sit in the chair also.
The only complaint is the price is high.
