I KEEP MY ALL MY KNIVES (FORSCHNERS) ON THESE PROTECTORS ALL THE TIME AFTER USE, JUST WATCH THEM DRY THEM AND PUT THEM BACK WHERE THEY BELONG, I LOVE MY KNIVES AND ALWAYS KEEP THEM SHARP AND THIS IS THE BEST TO PROTECT THE SHARP EDGE AND YOU DON’T RISK GETTING CUT WHEN YOU ARE TRYING TO GET A FORK OR A SPOON. This was a gift, and it definitely protects the knife, but makes it a little less convenient since you have to open it up to use the knife each time. Great price, though.

Good product. Gives good protection for storing sharp,large blade knives that could be dangerous.
Closes easily. A little bit harder to unsnap to open, takes a bit of practice.

Bought this to go with the Victorinox 8″ chef knife, also purchased on Amazon. Fit like a glove and very sturdy and safe. I’ve used it for several months and like the piece of mind that no one will reach into the drawer and cut themselves on this very sharp knife. Purchased a cheaper brand that was a sleeve-type and knife did not fit right. Go with this one, worth the few extra $$.
