Only issue the cavity I thought the Carving fork would fit in did not fit my Wusthof fork. Other than that everything fit in nice.

I purchased this item to store the set of knives I recieved from Ronco (Six Star Show Time Knives) I couldn’t bring myself to buy the one that they sell for nearly $40.00 and then pay an other $25.00 for “Processing & Handling”. I am very happy with this knife block. All of my knives fit OK except for a couple of the larger ones. I recieved the product quickly and in good shape, and am pleased with the Amazon service.

I bought this block instead of Kapoosh Universal Cutlery Block( which turn out not working for me). And it freed my drawer. Now I not jumping from the couch every time my child go to get spoon from the drawer. I am satisfied.

Many of us have multiple chefs knives and most blocks won’t accommodate them. This one accommodates three or even four depending on how you use the slots. I store three, one in the cleaver spot. I am able to store my 12″ broad blade slicer in the top slot, but that could also be used for a chefs-type knife. My shears fit in the hole provided, but since I hang them on a hook, I don’t need the slot designed for them. Instead, I use that for my oval steel, which no block accommodates on purpose. That leaves the steel hole free, so that houses my thermometer. I don’t use steak knives, but have a multitude of paring knives of various types that store nicely in those slots.
Because I don’t really have counter space to devote to a knife block, I greatly value the swivel base, which allows me to set the block on the half wall above the counter area. The base fits perfectly when swiveled longwise on the partition and the block can then be swiveled to face me as I work. My knives are well protected and I’m a happy cook having the knives at hand in this very solid and good-looking block. Most of my knives are Wusthof, but not all. Even the others fit well. This high quality block will last a lifetime. This is a very versatile block and highly recommended.

An excellent product, well priced, and shipped promptly. I have several knives that I’ve bought separately over the years and didn’t need another collection of them, so the blank knife block was what I needed. I heartily recommend both the product and the merchant!
